Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 5:45 AM - 4:15 PM The Batching Associate locates inventory and pulls it to fill multiple orders simultaneously. Orders are batched together to reduce the number of trips to the same location within the warehouse to retrieve product. The position follows standard work methods and safe work habits to ensure product integrity. Job Duties: Match blend orders to our internal item identification and vendor identifying numbers. Move materials and items from the warehouses to other designated areas and set up your staging area. Sort and place materials or items on racks or in rows according to predetermined sequence. Lift, move, and position bags of product so that all product is pulled and laid out in the correct position for blending. Update inventory location, quantities, and adjustments by adding and subtracting weight counts. Verify that the correct ingredient and bag size matches your paperwork. Notify Quality Assurance with any material issues and Inventory Control with any quantity issues. Once all required ingredients needed for the specific recipe are accounted for and staged, take the remaining products back out to the warehouse. Label ingredients and totes for each recipe and run. Fill out all paperwork indicating that the ingredients for the recipe have been pulled and are ready to be blended. Ensure the warehouse is clean, accessible, and safe for pedestrian traffic. Qualifications: Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered. Experience Required: Minimum one year of warehouse or batching experience preferred. Minimum one year of experience in a dairy and/or food production plant preferred. AA/EEO
