NRC Licensing SME
Strata-G is seeking an experienced NRC Licensing SME with the following: Part-time Nuclear Regulatory and Licensing expert needed to support various nuclear programs and projects in support of NRC reactor and nuclear fuels licensing and early site permitting tasks. Must have direct licensing experience with the NRC including supporting nuclear safety basis analysis, environmental impacts, hazard analysis, waste management, storage, transportation, emergency planning, construction, nuclear material, and operational permitting. Familiarity with NQA-1 and 10CFR Part 50/51/52/53/70/71/72 and related regulations also required. Engineering degree in related field (Nuclear, Chemical, Environmental, or similar) preferred, but can be replaced with extensive licensing experience. Job Type: Part-Time Job Location: Washington, D.C & Charlotte, NC. Strata-G will not sponsor applicants for immigrant or non-immigrant work visas. The successful candidate will be required to submit evidence of identity and employment authorization. Tests for the absence of any illegal drug as defined in 10 CFR 707.4, will be conducted by Strata-G and a background investigation by the Federal government may be required to obtain an access authorization prior to employment.
