The Role We are seeking a talented and driven Sr. Fullstack Engineer I (24 months fixed-term) to join our team and play a key role in expanding and enhancing our international products. We support Enterprise customers in the U.S. and abroad, and are increasing our focus on developing and improving our systems for a significantly larger scale of international users, particularly in areas like rostering, enrollment of large educational institutions, and providing data access to usage and outcome data for millions of students, teachers, and administrators. We are a remote-first organization and we strive to build using technology that is best suited to solving problems for our learners. Currently, we build with Go, GraphQL, JavaScript, React & React Native, Redux and we adopt new technologies like LLMs when they'll help us better achieve our goals. What you'll do: Design, develop, test, and deploy robust and scalable software solutions to support our international expansion. Internalize and improve existing systems and architectures to handle increased international scale. Develop and maintain data access solutions to provide usage and outcome data for students, teachers, and administrators. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and operations to deliver high-quality software. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to international scalability and performance. Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving coding standards and best practices. Mentor junior engineers and share technical knowledge. What You Bring 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on scalable systems and experience using AI in the development process. Experience managing data import/export with business intelligence tools and systems. Experience with database systems and data access patterns. Experience with internationalization (i18n) and localization (l10n). Experience building and maintaining complex software. You'll join us in writing clean, maintainable software that solves hard problems. You'll write testable, quality code. You'll push the team and the mission forward with your contributions. The target salary range for this position is $137,871 - $172,339 USD / $186,306 - $232,883 CAD. The pay range for this position is a general guideline only. The salary offered will depend on internal pay equity and the candidate's relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and job market data. Additional incentives are provided as part of the complete total rewards package, in addition to comprehensive medical and other benefits.
