Job Description: We are looking for a highly skilled Senior PCB Designer to join our Global Hardware Development team within the Test Technology & Systems organization at ADI. This role is ideal for experienced professionals who excel in PCB layout design, signal integrity optimization, and complex multi-layer board development. Key Responsibilities: Lead PCB layout design for complex, multi-layer boards used in test and evaluation environments Define layer stack-ups, optimize routing for signal integrity, and apply DFx principles Ensure compliance with IPC standards and best practices for PCB fabrication and assembly Collaborate with test and applications engineers to develop hardware solutions for production hardware and customer evaluation Conduct design reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior PCB designers Work with cross-functional teams to improve design processes, methodologies, and efficiency Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field Minimum 7 years experience in PCB design and layout Strong expertise in high-speed PCB design, transmission line theory, and signal integrity Proficiency in Cadence CAD tools (System Capture, Allegro, etc.) Preferred experience with ATE device interface board designs and probe cards on tester platforms including Teradyne, National Instruments, Advantest, SPEA, etc. Deep understanding of IPC PCB standards, fabrication and assembly processes Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to design challenges Strong communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional technical environment Experience as a technical and project lead for small teams of PCB design engineers Experience in mentoring junior engineers and leading design reviews
