Area Assistant Reservations Manager
The key responsibilities for this position are: Work closely with the Area Director on oversight of the Reservations Sales team. Onboarding, training, and continuous coaching of reservation team members. Achieve monthly individual & team conversion and revenue goals. Pursue Outbound Revenue Opportunities through our lead management system. Attends bi-monthly calls with Revinate leadership to ensure optimizing use of the system. Primary contact for Travel Agent reservation requests and emails. Ensures all requests and communication are replied to within Auberge Guidelines. Monitor the departmental inbox throughout the day and handle all emails professionally, efficiently, and accurately. Keep current with all communication and hotel information. Distributes information to the reservations team to ensure the team keeps current with all information. Ensure appropriate guest follow-up takes place in a timely and proper fashion, in accordance with the standard operating procedures. Provide detailed notes and comments in the lead management system and PMS regarding guest requests to ensure a quality guest experience. Maintain rate integrity in accordance with revenue management strategies. Communicates strategies to reservation sales associates in a timely manner. Completes month-end travel agent commissions report. Assist in maximizing hotel room revenue and occupancy numbers. Review property availability daily and maximize straight-line sell patterns. Participate in annual onsite/in-person reservations sales training. Participate in department meetings as scheduled. Monitors and assists with daily tasks on the Reservations Checklist. Maintain accurate, relevant knowledge of all properties within the region, room types, experiences, rates, and property-specific details. Assist with answering calls for the Area Reservations team when call volume is high or staffing levels are low. Perform any other job-related duties as assigned. Enliven the Auberge Enrich values. Qualifications Required Strong computer skills. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, and be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to work in a remote environment. Must have previous reservation sales experience, including usage of NAVIS. Must have a quiet, dedicated space, free of distractions. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office software suite.
