Electrical Component Technician

As an Electrical Component Technician, you will have an exciting and unique opportunity to diagnose and make corrective actions for complex aerospace components. Examples of product lines you may support are P-8, C-130, 787, A320, CH-53 and many more. As the first line of defense for our Engineering teams, you will have direct line of sight to identifying and correcting trending defects. Compensation: $2,500 Sign on Bonus* - Eligible for Annual Increases - Competitive Benefits Package, including first day Medical Benefits 1st Shift Schedule: This position is for 1st shift. Monday Friday 7:00AM 3:30PM. Overtime available on a business need basis. What You Will Do

You will work under general supervision. You will normally receive little instruction on daily work, general instructions on newly introduced assignments. You will follow blueprints, guidelines, and/or diagrams to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met. You will perform troubleshooting, calibrations or modifications of hardware, fixtures and software. You will use measuring and diagnostic tools to test and modify systems and components/assemblies. You will maintain records of production and reports any issues while following standard procedures. You will interpret data and accurately record time changes, test data, parts usage, etc. You will utilize microelectronic, electronic, optical, or electro-optical equipment, including computers and lasers. You will provide technical solutions to engineering. You will ensure systems and components meet established specifications. You will rework and repair various electrical and electromechanical systems and components/assemblies as needed. You may assist engineering with the design of printed circuit boards and prototypes (wire and insert parts). You may be trained/certified in multiple skills. You may train and mentor new technicians. Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Qualifications We Prefer

Experience with both an oscilloscope and DMM for troubleshooting down to the component level. Experience following Schematics and Prints at the system and unit level to help with the troubleshooting. Experience with logfile failures, and what is being exercised in the unit. What We Offer
