Job Description: Under the leadership of the department director operations supervisor, the Tech Aide functions in an ancillary capacity to enhance technical staff efficiency and productivity. The aide provides technical support related to daily operations and procedures in the Radiology/Emergency department. The Tech Aide takes direction from the technical staff, reporting ultimately to the appropriate supervisor. Experience: Able to work effectively and efficiently in a fast paced stressful environment. Capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing. Good understanding of body mechanics with regards to patient transfers and transporting. Basic computer skills. Previous work experience in a like environment highly preferred. Education: High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent work experience in related field. Licensure/Certifications: Current American Hospital Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification. Equal Opportunity Employer Assigned Work Hours: Varied shifts including weekends. Position Type: Per Diem Pay Range (based on years of applicable experience): $34.66 to $46.38 The hours employees work determine when a shift differential is paid. Hourly Evening Shift Differential: $2.01 Hourly Night Shift Differential: $2.95
