Part Time - ITM Teller

The ITM Teller is responsible for increasing Queensborough Customer Loyalty by ensuring consistent, positive, and valuable customer Interactive Teller Machine experiences. Under general supervision, but conforming to established policies and procedures, employee remotely operates an Interactive Teller Machine and provides prompt, efficient, accurate transactions and STAR quality customer service. Employee is responsible for balancing each day's transactions. Job Responsibilities: Represents the Bank in a courteous and professional manner via video Accepts ITM and branch deposits and cashes checks to customers' accounts Accepts ITM and branch loan payments and safe deposit box rent payments Cross-sells the Bank's services and products Answers customer inquiries and gives balances Balances transactions at end of day Adheres to the policies and procedures of the Bank and complies with all banking laws, rules and regulations Performs other duties as assigned Research and verify account information Answer questions and solve problems for customers Qualification Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent A minimum of six months cash handling & customer service experience Previous Teller experience strongly preferred Bilingual in Spanish would be preferred Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Ability to operate on-line teller terminal required Successful completion of ITM Teller training and other required compliance training Professional demeanor and presentation Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite preferred Skills: Required: Interpersonal: Expert Professionalism: Expert Typing: Expert Verbal Communication: Expert Written Communication: Expert Behaviors: Required: Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well Preferred: Team Player: Works well as a member of a group Enthusiastic: Shows intense and eager enjoyment and interest Dedicated: Devoted to a task or purpose with loyalty or integrity Experience: Required: 3-5 years: Customer Service 1-3 years: Teller Experience Preferred: Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
