Telecom Construction Manager
Location: On-site, EPA Market (NY/NJ) Industry: Wireless Telecommunications (Tower-based work only) We are actively seeking a Telecom Construction Manager with recent AT&T experience to support field operations for the MCA project (Maintenance, Component Repair & Replacement) across AT&T wireless sites. This role is fully on-site and requires hands-on management of subcontractors, quality, safety, and scheduling across active construction projects. Key Responsibilities
Oversee construction execution for multiple AT&T tower-based sites, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, and quality standards. Enforce and maintain strict safety compliance; review daily job site safety plans and stop work when unsafe conditions exist. Walk job sites regularly to monitor progress and contractor performance. Interface directly with AT&T engineering teams, internal PMs, and subcontractors. Install and uphold quality programs for both internal work and subcontractors. Track project documentation, subcontractor performance, POs, and cost reconciliation through completion and close-out. Required Qualifications
Recent AT&T experience is REQUIRED ; previous work on the MCA project is highly preferred. 4+ years of wireless/tower construction experience
(this is not a fiber, OSP, or small cell role). Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings. Experience managing crews, subcontractors, and construction logistics on active wireless sites. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Technical & Administrative Skills
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, large data set management). Familiarity with project financials and subcontractor budget tracking. High attention to detail, organizational strength, and multitasking capabilities. Able to lead subcontractor meetings, track updates, and maintain reporting accuracy. Preferred Qualifications
