While you're under our care, you'll enjoy comforts like Tempur-Pedic patient chairs, blankets, and pillows. You'll appreciate technology like our ultrasonic scalers, which help us clean your teeth with less scraping. Key Responsibilities Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures while helping patients feel comfortable
Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
Take dental radiographs (x-rays)
Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
Provide patients with follow-up instructions following all dental treatment procedures
Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
Qualifications Dental Assistant Certificate where state regulations specify
X-ray certification where state regulations specify
