From start to finish, we make sure your experience is comfortable and convenient. All of our locations offer hours as early as 7 a.m. for scheduling ease. While you're under our care, you'll enjoy comforts like Tempur-Pedic patient chairs, blankets, and pillows. You'll appreciate technology like our ultrasonic scalers, which help us clean your teeth with less scraping. Key Responsibilities Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures while helping patients feel comfortable

Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment

Take dental radiographs (x-rays)

Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment

Provide patients with follow-up instructions following all dental treatment procedures

Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health

Qualifications Dental Assistant Certificate where state regulations specify

X-ray certification where state regulations specify

Working Environment & Physical Requirements This is a clinical working environment where potential exposure to hazardous waste and blood-borne pathogens is possible. Requires prolonged periods of standing, sitting, leaning, and bending up to 8 hours a day. Will be required to carry, transport, and use tools and equipment. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
