Staff Accountant
Position at Meridian Group Meridian Group International, is a global organization with an annual revenue of $500 million to $1 billion based in Deerfield Il. We are currently seeking a staff accountant with 2-3 years of experience with strong technical, analytical, and communication skills. This position is responsible for preparing and recording journal entries, account reconciliations, and Accounts Payable. Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare and enter various accounting related entries. Reconcile various general ledger accounts. Review, verify, and enter AP invoices. Prepare documentation for external auditors. Perform monthly bank reconciliations. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or similar major with extensive accounting courses. 2-3 years of related experience. Strong understanding of accounting principles. Experience with accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting, and account reconciliation. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented, able to handle multiple tasks and work within deadlines. Demonstrate proficiency in Excel. Experience with ERP systems.
