Warehouse Supervisor
The primary purpose of the Warehouse Supervisor is to support the Warehouse Manager in the supervision and operation of all warehouse activities. Responsibilities include assigning, training, monitoring shift personnel in the performance of their duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Subject to change depending on shift being supervised.) Proficient in management of all other warehouse systems (EasyPick, routing specialist, etc.). Be knowledgeable of all shift processes in order to properly supervise, train and direct warehouse personnel. Responsible for opening or closing the warehouse. Responsible for ensuring proper set up, including upload/download of data, of driver handheld devices for all routes and printing invoices as needed. Ensure all product movement in and out of, and within, the facility is controlled and follows appropriate processes, including required documentation. Assist in all areas of loss prevention to minimize inventory losses and worker safety. Direct shift activities to ensure highest standards. Print out daily receiving appointments. Responsible for resolving handheld device and printer issues that arise. Provide necessary paperwork for morning keg pull. Unlock any delivery vehicles that are stored outside building. Generate invoices for hotshot, transfers and special events. Enter adjustments for breakage and repack. Supervise returns of dunnage to breweries and accurately process paperwork. Supervise unloading of incoming product and its placement in warehouse using WMS system. Follow all product rotation guidelines and report potential problems to Warehouse Manager. Check in returning route drivers, as necessary. Ensure any changes to outgoing delivery loads are properly recorded. Support Operations management in maintaining overall warehouse cleanliness standard and daily maintenance needs, including at least daily walks to assess adherence to standards. Responsible for ensuring adherence to all safety programs to meet company standards and exceed those of regulatory agencies. Follow all company safety rules and practices. Probable errors usually detected in succeeding operations and generally confined to a single department or phase of company activities. Errors could cause some internal confusion or delay or cause customer or supplier complaints but could be detected and adjusted with little difficulty. Corrections would involve backchecking by others and would involve some moderate monetary losses. Most work verified or checked either by systems or procedures, or supervision. Contact with Others:
Contact with other persons within the department or with other departments, and occasionally with persons outside the company on routine matters furnishing or obtaining information requiring only ordinary courtesy and tact. Confidential Data:
