Join UT Southwestern as an Executive Assistant in the Office of the Provost. This role supports the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Academic Affairs and the UT Southwestern Medical Group. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, calendar management, and possess exceptional professionalism, communication skills, and executive presence. Work Schedule: On-campus 4 days per week Experience and Education
Required: Education: Associate's degree in Business Administration or a related field Experience: 8 years of progressively responsible business or administrative experience in a university, medical center, or governmental environment Job Duties
Coordinate administrative functions across departmental sections to ensure consistent policy application Assist in developing and implementing procedures to improve operational efficiency Represent the department in the absence of executive leadership, coordinating with other departments on financial, budgetary, and personnel matters Maintain financial and personnel records; report fiscal and staffing activities to leadership Provide counsel on administrative matters affecting interdepartmental relationships Review and prioritize correspondence; manage information flow and communication Prepare charts, graphs, slides, and administrative reports as needed Arrange meetings, receive visitors, and coordinate logistics for official guests Track and manage departmental funds and expenditures May supervise and review work of lower-level administrative staff, including hiring, performance, and salary recommendations Perform other duties as assigned Benefits
