Deputy County Superintendent Of Highways
Franklin County residency is required. This is an exempt, management D position. Title: Deputy County Superintendent of Highways. Base Salary or Hourly: $60,000 to $70,000. Minimum Qualifications: Suggested minimum qualifications: A. Graduation from a regionally accredited or NYS registered college or university with a Bachelors degree in Engineering and 2 years of practical experience in a responsible capacity in the construction and maintenance of modern paved highways, at least one year of which must have been in a supervisory or administrative capacity; or B. Graduation from a regionally accredited or NYS registered college or university with an Associates degree in Engineering and 4 years of practical experience in a responsible capacity in the construction and maintenance of modern paved highways, at least one year of which must have been in a supervisory or administrative capacity; or C. Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and 6 years of practical experience in a responsible capacity in the construction and maintenance of modern paved highways, at least one year of which must have been in a supervisory or administrative capacity. Special requirement: (Copy of NYS Drivers license must accompany completed application) Possession of an appropriate New York State Motor Vehicle operators license acceptable to the Countys insurance carrier at the time of application and maintained throughout employment.
