Selectek has partnered with a growing MEP firm specializing in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design for the food service and hospitality industries. This company, known for designing systems for clients such as Chipotle and Starbucks, is seeking a Project Designer with a background in HVAC to join their team in Lakewood, CO. This role offers a collaborative, dynamic work environment with opportunities for professional growth and potential hybrid flexibility after proving performance. Key Responsibilities: Design HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems for commercial buildings with a focus on food service and hospitality projects. Create and modify designs using Revit and AutoCAD. Perform load calculations using Carrier HAP or Trane Trace software. Coordinate with project teams, ensuring designs meet client specifications and building codes. Collaborate with a small Colorado-based team, supporting both local and national projects. Travel occasionally (approximately 10% of the time) to project sites west of the Mississippi. Qualifications: Education:
Associate's degree in design or a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Experience:
3-7 years of design experience with a strong background in HVAC. Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD. Experience with load calculation tools such as Carrier HAP or Trane Trace.
Knowledge:
Familiarity with mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems for commercial buildings. Experience in food service design is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Willingness to travel and work on-site in the Lakewood, CO office full-time initially. Schedule: Monday
