Responsibilities:*Teach childbirth education classes *Teach prenatal breastfeeding classes *Providing one on one breastfeeding education to new mothers during their hospital stay *Answering calls regarding breastfeeding. *Providing post-discharge breastfeeding consultation to new mothers. *Assists with the development, implementation, and education of staff with Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative *Assists with reporting monthly statistics for Baby Friendly, Shaken Baby Syndrome *Assists with patient care as required Benefits
