This job is responsible for managing and executing natural gas trading activities to optimize Florida Power Light Company's upstream gas transport positions, including Southeast Supply Header, Gulf South and Trunkline pipelines. Job Duties: Individuals apply a high level of competency in optimization strategies, pipeline rules, physical market knowledge, financial products, and regulatory policies Monitor market conditions and conduct in-depth market research to understand supply and demand dynamics, price trends and factors affecting the natural gas market Develop and implement optimization strategies Identify additional upstream asset opportunities Establish and maintain relationships with producers, end-users and counterparties Work closely with procurement team to ensure physical gas supply reliability Maintain detailed records and prepare reports on trading activities, P&L, and market analysis Performs other job-related duties as assigned NextEra Energy offers a wide range of benefits to support our employees and their eligible family members.
