We are seeking an inspiring People & Culture Director to lead our talent acquisition, team-building, and cultural initiatives with the vision and charisma of a true captain. This role is pivotal in building our exceptional workforce by driving recruitment efforts, particularly through Indeed, and fostering a vibrant, inclusive, and high-energy culture. The ideal candidate is an absolute leaderless focused on technicalities and more passionate about cultivating team camaraderie, driving team growth, and planning engaging events, while still maintaining a strategic approach to HR operations. Strategic Recruitment : Lead full-cycle recruitment on Indeed, from crafting compelling job postings to sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates, ensuring alignment with our high standards and business objectives, particularly for our planned expansion of 15-20 IT sector roles. Candidate Engagement : Deliver an outstanding, personalized candidate experience, building rapport and maintaining clear communication to attract top talent and enhance our employer brand. Culture Building : Spearhead initiatives to foster team camaraderie, including team-building events, cultural programs, and employee engagement activities, to create a collaborative, inclusive, and vibrant workplace. Team Growth : Drive strategies for professional development and team expansion, aligning with our goal to grow the IT sector while nurturing a supportive and motivated workforce. Event Planning : Organize and execute company-wide events, such as team-building retreats, cultural celebrations, and employee recognition programs, to strengthen workplace bonds and morale. HR Leadership : Oversee essential HR operations, including onboarding, employee record management, benefits administration, and compliance with U.S. labor laws, ensuring seamless and efficient processes. Policy and Strategy Development : Partner with leadership to design and implement HR policies and strategies that support diversity, inclusion, and long-term business growth, with a focus on cultural alignment. Performance Support : Guide managers in setting performance objectives, conducting evaluations, and addressing challenges with empathy and actionable solutions, fostering a culture of growth and accountability. Compliance Management : Ensure HR practices adhere to regulations such as EEOC, OSHA, and HIPAA, while preparing data-driven reports on recruitment metrics, retention, and HR performance. Leadership Advisory : Act as a strategic partner to senior management, providing insights on workforce planning, talent development, and retention to drive organizational success and lead cultural transformation. Qualifications
Experience : At least 5 years of HR experience, with a minimum of 3 years in recruitment and talent acquisition, including hands-on expertise with platforms like Indeed. Leadership Expertise : Proven ability to lead with vision and charisma, inspiring teams and driving cultural initiatives that foster camaraderie, growth, and engagement. Cultural Focus : A passion for building a people-first culture, with experience in event planning, team-building, and creating inclusive, high-energy work environments. Recruitment Expertise : Demonstrated success in managing end-to-end recruitment for diverse roles, including IT positions, with a proven ability to attract and secure top-tier candidates in competitive markets. Interpersonal Excellence : Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills, with a warm, approachable demeanor and a talent for connecting with diverse stakeholders. Strategic Mindset : Ability to align HR, recruitment, and cultural strategies with business goals, showcasing creativity, problem-solving, and a results-driven approach. Technical Skills : Proficiency with HRIS systems (e.g., BambooHR, Workday), Indeed Employer Dashboard, and Microsoft Office; experience with applicant tracking systems is a plus. Compliance Knowledge : In-depth understanding of U.S. labor regulations, including EEOC, FLSA, and ADA, with experience ensuring HR compliance. Education : Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; SHRM-CP or PHR certification is strongly preferred. Base Salary : $175,000$200,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
