About The Role

Peraton requires Unified Communication Administrators to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - 3 EOM. This position is located at Camp Smith, HI. The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365. Responsibilities

Administers the operation of all SOCPAC Unified Communications systems and services according to Government policies and procedures Diagnoses and resolves Unified Communications related issues including performance, connectivity, call quality problems, dropped calls, video conferencing failures and other Unified Communications problems Provides Tier 2 or Tier 3 support to end-users and IT staff Administers Unified Communications security, antivirus, and spam control measures Uses a variety of tools to monitor and troubleshoot networks (Real-Time Monitoring Tool (RTMT), Command Prompt, Power Shell, and VQ Conference Manager) Works independently and provides administration of Unified Communications systems Creates monitoring reports and logs and ensures the functionality of Unified Communications systems Documents and maintains Unified Communications topologies Completes ticket request, works to resolve incidents, and escalates to engineering team when required Adds Office 365 users and assigns licenses (manually or by using automated tools such as PowerShell scripts) Monitors Microsoft Teams and Cisco Jabber usage and troubleshoots issues that arise. This can involve monitoring service health, analyzing usage reports, and responding to user feedback and support requests. Stays up to date with Office 365 and Cisco Jabber updates and new features and evaluates how they may impact SOCPAC. Adds and manages users to Cisco Jabber and manages their access and settings, such as creating user accounts, assigning roles, and configuring user settings Configures chat and calling features for Cisco Jabber to meet SOCPAC's needs. This involves setting up chat rooms, configuring audio and video settings, and setting up call forwarding and voicemail Manages Cisco Jabber Persistent Chat (PChat) Spaces to enable multiuser collaboration and communication. This involves creating one of two types of chat spaces as requested: Public Space: This space is open to all Jabber users and allows users to join at will Private Space: This allows for specified Moderators to control access to the space and add authorized users Administers Voice and Video endpoints Adds and configures new devices Updates or removes devices as necessary Administers IP telephony systems including VoIP phones, voicemail systems, call groups, hunt pilots, extension mobility, SIP trunks, and more Administers Cisco Meeting Server, VCS, Expressway-C, Expressway-E as necessary to manage Voice and Video traffic Performs daily system performance checks and reports readiness status Creates training documentation and conducts training sessions for staff and users Stays current with Unified Communications technologies and industry standards Qualifications

Min 9 years with HS diploma, 7 years with AS/AA degree, 5 years with BS/BA DoD 8570 IAT II Certification DoD TS/SCI clearance At least 2 years experience in increasingly complex and progressive experience in implementing, administering, performing testing, and analyzing network. Candidates must have experience with current technologies and, where required for the task, emerging technologies. Target Salary Range: $112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
