We are actively seeking a highly motivated
Estimator
to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our sales team and account managers to develop accurate, detailed estimates for landscape maintenance and construction projects. Key Responsibilities
Estimate Creation: Prepare accurate estimates for a variety of projects, ranging from residential properties to large municipal contracts. Generate estimates using site visits, aerial imaging tools, landscape plans, and bid documents. Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to procure quotes. Bid Document Analysis: Review bid documents to determine the scope of work. Develop estimates that accurately reflect the specified scope of work. Estimating Catalog Management: Maintain and update pricing information. Add new items as needed to ensure an up-to-date catalog. Industry Collaboration: Work with partner companies within the Mariani Premier Group (MPG) to leverage industry best practices and continually refine estimating methods. Qualifications
Proficiency in learning and using new software; this is a tech-dependent role. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Prioritize tasks effectively while maintaining autonomy in time management. Clear and proactive communication skills, especially regarding potential issues impacting deadlines. Landscape construction experience preferred but not required if technically proficient. The Perks
