We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to support a growing engineering firm during its transition from Newnan to Alpharetta. This role will be integral in assisting both the office manager and engineering team by handling administrative tasks, bookkeeping, and document coordination. The ideal candidate will have a proactive mindset, strong organizational skills, and a high-energy personality to thrive in this dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities
General Administrative Support: Assist the office manager, Jennifer Smith, with accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and bookkeeping tasks. Answer phone calls and provide professional customer service. Perform general office duties, including ordering supplies, managing schedules, and coordinating office logistics. Maintain an organized filing system for administrative and engineering documents. Engineering Team Support: File, organize, and manage incoming/outgoing engineering documents. Coordinate document submissions to clients, ensuring all details are accurately recorded. Assist engineers with administrative tasks related to project documentation. Required Qualifications
3+ years of administrative support experience. Experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with all levels of the company. A "can-do" attitude with the ability to handle multiple tasks and support different teams. Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in an engineering or technical environment is a plus. Familiarity with industrial equipment or manufacturing industries is beneficial. Location: Alpharetta, GA 30005 Term: 6-Month+ Contract (Potential for Permanent) Pay Rate: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour Work Schedule: Monday
