We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to support a Wood Framing Subcontractor. This role involves bidding on large commercial or multifamily projects ranging from a few hundred thousand to eight million dollars. Responsibilities include reporting to the Preconstruction team and President, bidding on multiple large commercial or multifamily projects, identifying blueprint discrepancies, carefully planning logistics to meet project deadlines, and ensuring the production of solid and safe structures. Essential skills include prior estimating experience with a framing subcontractor, proficiency in BlueBeam estimating software, experience with Material Take Off processes, and a strong understanding of construction management and blueprint analysis. Additional skills and qualifications include having previously worked for a framing subcontractor and experience in estimation specifically with subcontractors, not general contractors. This position offers the potential for a remote or hybrid schedule, depending on individual work ethic. You can be based locally in the DMV area or near the Charlotte, NC office. The company is licensed in multiple states, with 75% of the portfolio located in the southern states including GA, FL, NC, and SC. The pay range for this position is $62.50 - $72.12/hr.
