Project Controls Specialist

We are seeking a driven and curious Project Controls Specialist in Austin, TX to join our Project Management Team managing a large healthcare program with multiple owners and funding sources. As a member of our Project Management Team, you will report to our Project Controls Manager to help support the day-to-day execution of project controls functions for the Project. You will be responsible to support cost control and schedule monitoring, analysis, forecasting, and reporting. You will help to manage overall project cost controls and reporting functions by supporting the Jacobs team and client management, updates, and helping to prepare various presentations materials for various levels of management. You will also help to develop, interpret, and execute policy objectives and standards applicable to cost and schedule controls. Join us and we will assist in continuing the development of your skills and exploring all that you can do across our global company, with opportunities to share your knowledge along the way BA or BS or equivalent in Engineering, Construction Management, Accounting, or related fields. 2+ years of related Project Controls and Scheduling/Planning experience on large projects Experienced in all project controls disciplines - Cost Engineering, Scheduling, Estimating, Document Control, etc. Broad knowledge of Project Control Systems, BI dashboard technology and processes including leading schedule processing software, program database platforms and spreadsheet applications Understanding of operational business processes in the Engineering and Construction industry IT experience or aptitude interpret what may be required and learn Experience in interoperability and systems integrations An intuitive and assertive problem-solving approach Jacobs' health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
