Please see below: - $15.91 an hour when working the desk or fulfilling the duties of a Racquet Attendant. - a to be determined percentage of the lesson/program revenue when conducting lessons. The Town of Ocean City Recreation and Parks Department is looking for friendly, enthusiastic people to work at the Ocean City Tennis Center located at 61 Street and The Bay. This position serves as a certified teaching professional at Ocean City Racquet Center. Schedules, plans, implements private and semi-private lessons in either tennis or pickleball. Work includes on-court instruction, completion of daily/weekly paperwork and coordination of court usage with the Racquet Center staff. Certification(s) and experience in teaching tennis or pickleball is required. Must be able to work a varied schedule including evenings and weekends. Must possess a valid driver's license and pass a post offer drug test and background check. To apply electronically go to

Assists with operations of the Racquet Center. Lead tennis instruction including youth and adult programs. Assist with revenue collection and depositing. Assist with regular court maintenance Assists with tournament planning, execution and evaluation including enforcement of rules, tournament seeding, etc. Enforce all facility rules and regulations governing the use of facility, its equipment and other property. Enthusiastically encourages tennis participation by assisting in events to promote the sport and fellowship in the facility. Prepare activities for such events. Minimum Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Tennis instruction certification required (USPTA, PTR, or equivalent) CERTIFICATES,LICENSES,REGISTRATIONS Tennis instruction certification required (USPTA, PTR, or equivalent) LANGUAGESKILLS:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. MATHMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percentages. REASONINGABILITY:

Must have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Must be able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
