Network Engineer

In this role with the Operations & Sustainment team, you will be responsible for the successful implementation, integration, and sustainment support of a multi-site classified network with a variety of locations and vendor hardware. Job Responsibilities
Configuration and management of Juniper and Cisco switches and routers, firewalls, and support to the system administration team in deployment at new sites. Support the design, build, test, and troubleshoot computer systems. Network and System Administration. Workstation and server configuration. Maintenance and troubleshooting. Working with the System Administrator, Hardware, and Software teams to maintain/update system. Install/build rack mounted systems. Required Skills
Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance. Ability to obtain CompTIA Security+ certification. Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and managing LAN and WAN networks. Experience with Linux/RHEL. Experience with Juniper/Cisco. Desired Skills
Experience in SPACE Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) Systems. Sound knowledge of network architecture, topologies, engineering, design, implementation, and testing. Familiarity with communication products including router, switches, firewalls, Domain Name Servers (DNS) and data encryption products. Certifications in the industry vendors Juniper/Cisco. Understanding of standard DoD security practices such as, STIG/RMF compliance and system accreditation implementation efforts. Experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytic tools. Network and Linux/RHEL automation utilizing Ansible. Virtualization utilizing VMWare.
