To design, develop, implement, and support mathematical, statistical, and machine learning models and analytics used in business decision-making. Accountabilities
Design analytics and modelling solutions to complex business problems using domain expertise. Collaboration with technology to specify any dependencies required for analytical solutions. Development of high performing, comprehensively documented analytics and modelling solutions. Implementation of analytics and models in accurate, stable, well-tested software. Provision of ongoing support for the continued effectiveness of analytics and modelling solutions. Demonstrate conformance to all Barclays Enterprise Risk Management Policies. Advise and influence decision making, contribute to policy development. Lead a team performing complex tasks. Demonstrate a clear set of leadership behaviours. What will you be doing? Barclays Services Corp. seeks AVP, Quantitative Analyst BI Retail Credit Risk Modeler in Wilmington, DE (multiple positions available): Develop account level multivariate and time series econometric models to predict credit risk. Perform project design, predictive model development, strategy development. Leverage knowledge of statistics, economics, mathematics, and programming techniques. Utilize Hadoop, SQL, and Spark to extract relevant features from raw data sources. Produce comprehensive documentation to ensure models can be replicated. Predict model adherence to internal, external, and regulatory requirements. Provide intellectual leadership and analytical support to clients. Assist clients developing best in class practices throughout product life cycle. Leverage knowledge of SAS GRID and Hadoop databases, Unix servers. Communicate model development techniques to senior management. Liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance. Draft production code and collaborate with implementation team.
