The Role
We are currently seeking a full-time, highly professional, career-oriented engineer to join our team as a Systems Architect. Systems architects are responsible for the design and implementation of complex systems. They work with a wide range of stakeholdersincluding software developers, product managers, customers, solution engineers, project teams, and other system architectsto determine how best to build and implement these systems. Systems architects must have an excellent understanding of both technical and non-technical issues. They need to be able to understand and interpret technical requirements from all relevant parties. They also need to be able to communicate their own ideas clearly and effectively to everyone involved in the process. Your Impact
Creating documentation such as design specifications and design rationale for system deployment. Identifying security risks and advising on how to mitigate them Guiding hardware and software specifications for system design Serving as a liaison between the product managers, development teams, and other departments within the company Working with solutions engineering to establish system diagrams showing how components of the system work together Lead research on emerging technologies that could impact the system design Developing and maintaining a conceptual model of how users will interact with the system, including how data will be stored and processed Recommending new technology solutions to meet business goals and objectives. Reviewing existing systems to determine how they can be improved or updated What You'll Need
Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field. 5+ years relevant work experience. Experience with SCADA and/or OT systems. Strong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills. Ability and flexibility to travel to domestic and international customer sites. Ability to work independently, effectively manage time, and prioritize strategically. The salary range for this role is $115,100.00 - $143,900.00. This range represents what we in good faith believe is the range possible for base compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on several factors. This range may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for bonus or variable incentive pay. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, charitable giveback day, medical/dental/vision insurance, and retirement benefits to eligible employees.
