Join STV's National Rail Team as a Rail Construction Manager

STV's National Rail team is seeking a dynamic Construction Manager to oversee and lead numerous rail construction projects that will shape the future of transportation in the region. The primary responsibility of this Construction Manager role is to ensure that construction activities are planned and executed seamlessly, minimizing disruptions to rail transportation operations. As a Construction Manager, you will: Ensure Project Excellence: Review and analyze plans and specifications, ensuring construction aligns with approved shop drawings and submittals Drive Quality Assurance: Monitor and perform field Quality Assurance tests while completing detailed quality assurance functions Observe & Lead: Oversee multiple daily construction activities to ensure safety and the seamless progression of transportation projects and QA Inspection staff to minimize defects and deficiencies in the Contractor's work Provide Oversight: Deliver detailed on-site oversight and documentation, tracking work performed by contractors to minimize defects and deficiencies Collaborate: Work closely with project stakeholders to ensure high standards are met throughout all phases of construction Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience in a related field At least 5 years of experience in construction work, methods, specifications, and drawings Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook) Technical certifications in earthwork, concrete, or weld inspection (a plus but not required) A willingness to travel regularly and adapt to varying schedules, including possible night and weekend work (Accessible to contact on nights and weekends) Working Environment: Work in the field under diverse and uncontrolled atmospheric conditions, including extreme temperatures, rain, snow, and muddy terrain Adapt to environments without a field office, utilizing your vehicle as a workspace when necessary Traverse rough terrain, steep grades, and areas with heavy vegetation Perform duties on high structures, such as bridges, ensuring both personal and team safety Compensation Range: $106,908.24 - $142,544.33 Don't meet every single requirement?
