We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced communications professional to join a dynamic team within the Integrated Components Division (ICD) at Caterpillar. This position will report to the ICD Division Communications Manager and play a key role in supporting strategic communications across the division. The Integrated Components Division (ICD) is part of Caterpillar's Resource Industries segment and includes global teams that design, manufacture and deliver components used across the enterprise. From advanced manufacturing and engineering to wear and maintenance solutions, ICD plays a critical role in enabling product performance and reliability. The Senior Communications Specialist will partner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to shape messaging and drive alignment across this diverse and impactful division. In this role, you'll lead and execute strategic communications initiatives that support division priorities, drive employee engagement, and enable change. You'll partner closely with senior leaders to develop messaging, communication plans, and materials that inform, inspire, and align employees. You'll also collaborate with the broader ICD communications team to ensure consistency and impact across channels and audiences. What You Will Do: Develop and execute communication strategies that support business goals, drive alignment, and foster a strong ICD culture Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on communications and change management strategies Lead communication planning and execution for organizational changes, employee engagement initiatives, and leadership messaging Prepare executive presentations, speeches, talking points, and other materials for internal and external audiences Plan and execute employee meetings, events, and campaigns Manage internal communications channels and content, including digital platforms Embrace technology and innovation to reach and engage employees in new and creative ways What You Will Have: Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing and/or equivalent experience in corporate communications Copywriting and Editing: Ability to write, review and edit texts and documents to promote marketing; experience with content creation, visual storytelling, and basic video editing Interpersonal Relationships: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across a matrixed organization; ability to collaborate and work with leaders and business partners Internal Communications: Knowledge of techniques and media for internal communications; ability to produce and distribute news, newsletters and other communications materials targeted at the employees; strong change management communication skills. Planning and Organizing: Knowledge and ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way; ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment; proactive mindset, sense of urgency, and ability to work independently Establishing and Maintaining Trust: Ability to develop trusting relationships and provide solicited, respected and valued perspectives to senior leaders on strategic communications Communicating for Impact: Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills Additional Info: The primary location for this position is Irving, TX Domestic relocation assistance is available for those who qualify Sponsorship is not available International and Domestic travel up to 5% About Caterpillar: Caterpillar Inc. is the world's leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, off-highway diesel and natural gas engines, industrial gas turbines and diesel-electric locomotives. Summary Pay Range: $110,520.00 - $165,840.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
