Join Our Elite Team as a Cybersecurity Engineer (IASE/ISSE)
Location: Suitland, MD (National Maritime Intelligence Center) Security Clearance: Active DoD Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance Leidos is seeking a dynamic Security Engineer to work onsite at the National Maritime Intelligence Center. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact on national security while advancing your career. Responsibilities: Capture and integrate security requirements into IT systems. Conduct vulnerability assessments, ethical hacking, and penetration testing. Analyze IT systems for threats and provide remediation recommendations. Develop and deliver training on cyber tools and processes. Research and evaluate Cybersecurity tools and methodologies Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field with 8+ years of experience or Master's degree with 6+ years of experience. Additional experience, certifications or trainings may be considered in lieu of degree. Active DoD Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance. Active IAT or IAM Level III DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification (e.g. CISSP-ISSEP or CASP certification). Experience with DIACAP/DoD RMF, DCID 6/3, ICD-503, NIST 800-53, and/or RMF. Proficiency in hardening modern operating systems and implementing security engineering best practices. Some scripting experience is a plus. Up to 10% travel may be required. Preferred Qualifications: Software development experience in Java, C, C++, or other programming languages. Systems Engineering and Network Administration. Project Management experience. Why Leidos?
