We work to make the region a great place to live, work, and thrive. What Will I Be Doing? Assist with transportation planning projects that improve mobility, safety, and multimodal connections throughout the region. Development of project scopes of work, budget and timeline. Work in project teams including internal and/or external team members. Data analysis using tools such as Excel, ArcGIS, and other programs. Development and/or review of report content and project recommendations. Assist and coordinate on stakeholder and public involvement. Key Qualifications Experience with ArcGIS. Basic understanding of transportation planning principles. Experience in development and execution of sub-regional, corridor, and access management planning. Experience with stakeholder and public engagement. Experience in presentations to committees. Strong communication and presentation skills. Do You Have Bachelor's degree in an applicable academic discipline or related field of study. 3 years of experience working with local government, nonprofit programs, school or in job related duties. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with the primary requirements and functions of a Metropolitan Planning Organization. Master's degree in Urban Planning, Regional Planning or related field. Experience with ArcGIS and/or graphics software including Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop). Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and database software. Expected Hiring Range The expected hiring range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000.
