Molding Process Technician
Hire Up has an exciting opportunity with an established Plastics Manufacturer for an important role as the Molding Process Technician in Round Rock, TX! Night Shift Pay DOE Job Duties/Responsibilities: Oversee job start-up procedures, ensuring tools, materials, equipment, and operator readiness for smooth production transitions. Facilitate new product introductions, including mold trials, design of experiments, material handling, and data recording for process development. Monitor and optimize production processes to improve quality, safety, productivity, and cost through statistical analysis and continuous improvement efforts. Set up and regulate injection molding machines, ensuring proper materials, process parameters, and quality standards are maintained throughout production. Conduct inspections, collect samples, and document data for product approvals, quality assurance, and process repeatability. Troubleshoot and resolve molding defects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and assist in staff training and development. Support preventative maintenance, tooling tracking, and reporting to ensure production readiness and equipment reliability. Qualifications: High School diploma/GED required; 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or molding preferred. Proficiency in molding principles.
