Artificial Intelligence Engineer
The Lockheed Martin Artificial Intelligence Center (LAIC) team is seeking a high energy individual with a strong working knowledge in radar systems engineering, signal processing, data science, artificial intelligence and machine learning to support the Applied AI team and product portfolio. The team is focused on exploiting small, innovative and agile teams to rapidly iterate and mature solutions from prototypes to deployment for utilization across the Lockheed Martin enterprise and leveraging machine learning operations paradigms to provide continuous maintenance for deployed products. The selected candidate for this role will lead the monitoring and maintenance of fielded AI capabilities and on the development of new capabilities to enhance ML monitoring and continuous update processes for deployed systems. Activities will span analysis of customer data, ML model performance assessments, ML model updates, & new capability development to address evolving operational requirements. Must exhibit self-motivation, a strong work ethic, time management and interpersonal skills. The selected candidate is required to work at LM Moorestown between 50% and full time on site depending on mission needs. Off hours work is occasionally required to meet mission requirements to support updates to and real time monitoring of customer mission systems. Flexible hours are available outside these requirements. Must be a US Citizen. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other related discipline Skilled in machine learning model training and analysis through open-source frameworks (Pytorch, Tensorflow, Sklearn, Keras, etc) Skilled in Python and multiple libraries (NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, etc.) Full Knowledge of radar systems engineering, radar track processing, and general digital signal processing Skilled in serving as an external spokesperson on significant technical matters related to software, machine learning, and radar systems Ability to obtain a Secret government security clearance Desired Skills: Master's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other related discipline Experience interfacing with databases (SQL, MongoDB, etc.) Experience with C++, Java, GO, and other compiled languages Skilled in large dataset management, exploration, visualization, and analysis Skilled in leading programs, test events, integration activities, or live data collection activities Skilled in leading long-term programs related to software, machine learning and radar systems; coordinating long term program execution across organizations Skilled in training and analysis steps in a modern MLOps pipeline including labeling, local and global explainability, model export and serialization, conformance testing, deployment, and monitoring Experience with DevOps tools: Docker, Git [GitLab, GitHub], Continuous Integration [CI], Continuous Deployment [CD] Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
