Job Title: Warehouse Material Handler Shift: 3rd Shift 10p-6:30a + $3 Shift Differential Job Description: A warehouse material handler is responsible for working through the day-to-day operations on the warehouse floor, including shipping/receiving, inventory movement and order picking. The material handler must be a team player who works with a sense of urgency, has an eye for detail and takes the initiative to identify and solve problems. Responsibilities: Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment. Comply with all GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), successfully complete all training requirements. Comply with federal, state and local regulations as they apply to our warehouse operation. Follow quality standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations. Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to the schedule supplied by management. This includes, but not limited to, the following. Verifying product and pallet integrity. Confirming product counts. Preparing shipment according to shippers' guidelines. Applying labels, placards, packing list, etc. Completing proper shipping paperwork. Reporting any discrepancies. Confirming trailer/container integrity before loading. Properly secure trailer/container before loading. Enter required data in the WMS. Perform inventory controls and maintain a high standard of quality throughout the facility. Keep a clean and safe work environment. Report safety issues to management. Utilize space to meet optimal efficiency. Assist supervising Warehouse Associate I personnel. Assist supervising loading personnel. Communicate and cooperate with supervision and coworkers. Qualifications
High school diploma Excellent organization and time management skills Can work without supervision Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and email Experience with standard office equipment Lifts heavy objects by hand or with power hoist, and cleans work area, machines, and equipment. Conduct safety and equipment checks daily. Operates machinery such as banding, taping, and sealing Follow all safety procedures. Actively works to improve individual and center safety record Actively works for continuous quality improvement Identifies and implements continual improvement initiatives to enhance the performance of the position, team, and company Additional Information
