The Associate Distribution Manager
PM Shift at our Milwaukee, WI site will monitor and direct the activities of Distribution Supervisors and Associates to ensure productivity, inventory accuracy, quality, service, and safety, while managing departmental change and directing supervisors who are responsible for day-to-day activities. The Associate Distribution Manager is responsible for control of receiving and storage of bulk, or finished goods, order filling, packing, or shipping of customer orders in compliance with all company operating procedures and government regulations (ISO, OSHA, DEA, DOT, CFR, IATA, IMO, etc. Job duties include: Shift hours: Monday
Friday, 2:00pm 11:00pm Train, mentor and motivate employees, as well as establish performance standards Communicate evaluations of performance to employees Identify and implement system or process improvements Solve problems related to unusual or difficult customer requests or situations that occur with the distribution operation Physical Attributes: Walking, standing, and reaching above the shoulders Stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling for extended periods of time and/or stay on feet for eight plus hours. Lifting and or moving up to 60 pounds unassisted and more than 60 pounds assisted. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED 4+ years of supervisory experience Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in any discipline Operational experience in a Distribution Center or Chemical Manufacturing environment Effective communication skills The Company is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
