Under broad supervision, evaluates behavioral, emotional, and cognitive disorders for justice-involved youth placed in secure residential facilities. Applies theory relating to behavior and mental processes to formulate and administer treatment programs as a clinical member of a multidisciplinary team. Helps youth work toward the maintenance and enhancement of physical, intellectual, emotional, and social functioning. Conducts diagnostic evaluations, provides clinical supervision to behavioral health staff, evaluates and monitors mental health clinics to ensure they are being delivered in accordance with professional standards, provides clinical treatment services to youth, including individual therapy, group therapy, crisis intervention, and psychoeducational programming, provides consultation and/or crisis intervention for youth who present emergent issues that pose a potential risk to themselves or others, provides clinical education, consultation, and leadership for staff who work in secure residential facilities, provides on-call remote consultation. Minimum Qualifications Doctorate degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited college or university AND current Georgia license to practice psychology. Note: License may be temporary, provisional, or permanent. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with justice involved youth in residential treatment settings, experience providing clinical supervision to treatment staff, training and experience in trauma-focused interventions
