We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical
Costing Analyst
to join our Business Analytics team. This role plays a critical part in maintaining accurate product costing, supporting cross-functional partners, and driving business decisions through reliable cost analysis and reporting. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in manufacturing processes and standard cost systems, along with a desire to work closely with Sales, Operations, and Finance teams.
Key Responsibilities Maintain and manage the company's standard cost models and data integrity. Generate accurate and timely product cost estimates to support the Sales team in pricing and quoting efforts. Prepare and distribute cost reporting and variance analysis for key stakeholders. Collaborate with Product Development and Engineering to support product setup, routing, and Bill of Materials (BOM) accuracy. Identify and support opportunities for continuous improvement in costing methodology and process automation.
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, Analytics, Engineering, or a related field. Experience working in a manufacturing environment. Working knowledge of standard costing principles and cost accounting.
Preferred Qualifications Proficiency in SQL for querying data and supporting analysis. Experience using Power BI or similar business intelligence tools for data visualization. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, modeling). Familiarity with JD Edwards or other ERP systems (especially AS/400 platforms).
