Clinical Faculty Position

This position in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) at the University of New Hampshire, Durham is a non-tenure Clinical Faculty position. This is a 9-month academic year appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor with a targeted start date of August 2025. The CSD department offers a Bachelor's degree in CSD and Master's of Science in Speech Language Pathology and is housed in the College of Health and Human Services. Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Design and teach F2F courses within the curriculum, including, but not limited to, Basic Audiology and Introduction to Aural Rehabilitation. Support student clinical activities at both graduate and undergraduate level through direct instruction and supervision within the CSD Speech, Language and Hearing Center Foster community and university level outreach activities related to audiology Participate in departmental, college and university level service Maintain and/or develop clinical protocols which comply with CAA standards and departmental mission Participate in program and curriculum development endeavors Required Qualifications:

A Doctoral or Master's degree in Audiology (Au.D. or Ph.D.) Current New Hampshire License and American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)certification (CCC_A) Clinical expertise across the audiology scope of practice Strong communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications:

Experience teaching and supervising at the graduate and undergraduate level. Experience with interdisciplinary collaboration between audiology, speech-language pathology, and other healthcare disciplines in an academic setting. Applicant Instructions:

The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) within the College of Health and Human Services has a faculty of 12 and an enrollment of approximately 50 SLP graduate students and 150 undergraduate CSD majors. The department's academic and clinical programs, which includes the Speech Language and Hearing Center, are accredited in both speech-language pathology and audiology by the Council on Academic Accreditation (CAA) of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
