Software Tester Position
Worksite: 350 Hudson Street, 9th Floor, New York, NY 10014. Job Description: Develop and execute software tests to identify software problems and their causes. Build automated testing tools and scripts for driving application tests. Define, develop, implement, and maintain the automation test scripts. Record and maintain source control of automation scripts. Participate in review of project requirements to understand test objectives, to provide input on testability of requirements and estimation for the testing activities. Provide the testing approach, develop the automation test. Analyze new product features for potential test scenarios and write tests. Document findings and observations during test execution. Work closely with developers to debug and fix bugs and observations. Dedicate time to learning new testing tools, techniques, and methodologies. Telecommuting permitted. Job Requirements: Master's or foreign equivalent degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or in a related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation. Special Requirements: Position requires experience, knowledge or coursework in each of the following skills: 1. Object Oriented Programming such as Java and C#; 2. Page object model and BDD frameworks; 3. Developer platform such as Github; 4. Participating in sprint review and sprint planning meetings; 5. Developing test cases for individual product use cases; 6. Bitbucket for continuous Integration; 7. Working on mobile and API automation; and 8. Working on manual test cases and raising bugs in Jira. Employment and background checks may be required. Minimum Salary: 102,086 Maximum Salary: 107,086 Salary Unit: Yearly
