Production Operator
Sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Uses computer-controlled equipment to select, position and secure automatic or semi-automatic machines. Controls and adjusts machine settings to complete simple tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion. Basic operation of simple machinery and equipment, such as presses, lathes, or cutters. Ability to follow standardized procedures for setting up and operating machines. Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating machines. Familiarity with reading simple work orders or production instructions. Producing and ensuring product meets or exceeds established product specifications. Attention to detail to ensure machine operation is accurate and products meet basic quality standards. Basic problem-solving ability to identify and report machine malfunctions. Must be cross-trained and able to support all Operator I roles. Starting at $21/hour + up to $2/hour for premium shifts When you could work: 2nd Shift - 2pm - 12am, 2pm-10pm 3rd Shift - 10pm - 6am 12 Hour Days - 6am - 6pm (2-2-3 schedule) 12 Hour Nights - 6pm - 6am (2-2-3 schedule) Required Skills and Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to use and accurately read measuring devices (tape measures). Ability to use hand tools (hammer, wrench, level, etc.). Ability to follow blueprints. Ability to read and interpret Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures. Ability to use a computer with basic proficiency (data entry).
