Electromagnetic Test And Evaluation Engineer
Join cutting-edge Electromagnetic Test and Evaluation team in Huntsville and help develop innovative test solutions for radar cross-section (RCS), antenna characterization, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) systems, and material measurements. You'll contribute to the full hardware-in-the-loop Dynamic Advanced Radar Test (DART) facility supporting radar seeker development and sustainment, using advanced RF, FPGA, and simulation technologies in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Develop and validate electromagnetic test system requirements Design integrated hardware/software architectures for RF and antenna systems Conduct simulations, trade studies, and performance analysis to optimize system design Plan, define, and execute tests to verify customer system requirements Troubleshoot technical anomalies and support root cause analysis Independently operate specialized test equipment and procedures Collaborate with internal teams and external customers to support mission objectives Drive process improvements and clearly communicate complex concepts Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related field 1+ years of hands-on lab experience in electromagnetics 1+ years of experience with RF systems or coursework in RF theory Willingness to travel domestically as needed Preferred Qualifications: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Physics Experience with radar systems, RF hardware, or digital signal processing Operation of RF test equipment (Oscilloscopes, Spectrum/Vector Network Analyzers) Familiarity with FPGA design, embedded systems, or Linux OS Experience using LabVIEW, MATLAB, Python, or C++ Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
