CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for a Technical Writer I. Type: Contract Job Title: Technical Writer I Location: Oneonta, NY Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Oneonta, NY Pay Rate: Based on experience Work Hours: MF 8am5pm Education: Associate or Bachelor's Degree, 2+ years of work equivalent experience (work in a manufacturing environment is preferred) Description

The Technical Writer I will be responsible for creating, revising, and maintaining quality management system documents and records in support of our Life Sciences processes. This role involves generating and updating procedures, work instructions, job aids, and certificates of conformance to ensure compliance with ISO 13485, ISO 9001, and 21 CFR 820 standards. The Technical Writer I will collaborate with various departments to improve processes and ensure document accuracy and accessibility. Primary Responsibilities

Create, edit, and maintain quality system documents, including procedures, work instructions, job aids, and certificates of conformance Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, ISO 9001, and 21 CFR 820 standards Initiate and process Change Controls and Document Change Requests Collaborate with cross-functional teams to update processes and procedures Administer the document review, approval, and retention processes Support or lead continuous improvement initiatives for document control Assist other Quality Assurance functions such as internal audits and CAPA activities Perform other duties as assigned Requirements

2+ years of work experience, preferably in a manufacturing or regulated environment Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document creation and revision Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment Required Qualifications

Education: Associate or Bachelor's Degree, 2+ years of work equivalent experience (work in a manufacturing environment is preferred) Qualifications: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other Quality Management System standards Knowledge of ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 820 Quality Management Systems highly preferred Experience with ETQ or other Document Management software preferred No third-party resumes will be accepted Drug testing and/or other employment-related inquiries may be conducted CTG will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of all applicable local, state, and federal laws All interested individuals MUST be able to work on a W2 Tax basis (no C2C or third-party vendors) CTG is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer CTG is an E-Verify Company
