Procurement Analyst for NITE Contract

Mission Technologies, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries, is searching for a qualified candidate to fill the role of Procurement Analyst for the NITE (Navy Integrated Training Environment) Contract. The Procurement Analyst supports government and corporate purchases and invoicing in compliance with applicable plans and directives to support mission needs. Responsible for procurement of all supplies, materials, and contracting for services to support contract requirements. Familiar with FAR Part 45, Government Property. Evaluate requirements to maintain required quantities of on-site spares, support equipment, consumables, and bench stock. Has responsibilities for vendor selection and negotiation, distribution, and transportation. Assists with establishing, developing, implementing, and maintaining an effective Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001:2008. Maintain accurate records within the Integrated Enterprise Management System (MAXIMO and Confluence). Training will be provided for Maximo and Confluence. Personnel will perform to the standards set forth within the Quality Management System, ensuring accuracy and diligent of all work performed. Ensure accountability of Government property in accordance with applicable regulations (FAR 52.245-1), contract requirements and contract plan and procedures. Responsible to work in close coordination with other team members and departments to update, monitor and procurement actions. Individual must be able to work independently and work within team. Essential Job Responsibilities: Source and purchase machinery, equipment, raw materials, packaging, and services needed for operational success Analyze data to assess feasibility, establish pricing strategies, and evaluate market trends Negotiate pricing and delivery terms to ensure value, quality, and schedule alignment Monitor supplier performance and identify cost-saving opportunities Prepare and manage RFPs and bid packages; maintain procurement records Ensure compliance with FAR Part 45 and FAR 52.245-1 related to government property Maintain accurate data in procurement systems including Maximo and Confluence (training provided) Support Quality Management System practices in accordance with ISO 9001:2008 Minimum Qualifications: 0 years' experience with Bachelors in related field OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience. US Citizen Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance Possibility of a Hybrid schedule Preferred Requirements: Experience with multiple procurement platforms (e.g., Maximo, Costpoint) 5+ years of related experience Ability to understand and interpret technical information Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and customer service mindset Proven ability to manage competing priorities effectively Physical Requirements: Job performance will normally require only minor lifting and carrying of boxes of records or equipment.
