About the Company:
Several hedge funds based in New York are actively seeking Trading Operations professionals. These firms, which primarily focus on multi-strategy investments, are expanding their operations departments and are in search of highly qualified individuals to join their teams. Role Overview : The key role responsibilities for the operation professionals include supporting clearing and settlement processes for millions of daily trades in the following asset classes: Equity, Fixed Income, Derivatives, FX, Commodities, and Crypto. Responsibilities: Affirmation of trades, minimizing operational risk and maximizing straight through processing Daily reconciliation of internal data to participating brokers via position, trades, cash, NAV, and fees Ensure accurate monitoring of trade confirmations and allocations. Perform fund operations including trade bookings, trade matching, failed trade investigations, daily reconciliations, P&L reconciliation. Monitor and troubleshoot trading and operational issues in real-time, employing a proactive approach to minimize risks Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field 2-5 years of experience in trading support or a comparable role. Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
