Respiratory Therapist Job Description
As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality pulmonary care to critically ill adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients under the supervision of a physician. Responsibilities: Perform patient assessments and develop respiratory care plans Administer various technical and diagnostic respiratory therapy procedures Requirements: Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification Work Schedule: Varies Work Type: Per Diem As Needed Job Requirements
Education/Skills See licensure and/or certification requirements Experience 1 - 3 years of experience preferred Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications RT or RCP License in state of employment required BLS required Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC required Current ACLS certification required Current PALS certification required Current NRP certification required Benefits and Compensation Benefits are not included here.
