As a Manager of Software Engineering at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial & Investment Bank, you will lead multiple teams and oversee daily implementation activities. Your role involves identifying and escalating issues while ensuring your team's work aligns with compliance standards, business requirements, and tactical best practices.
Job responsibilities
Provides guidance to immediate team of software engineers on daily tasks and activities Sets the overall guidance and expectations for team output, practices, and collaboration Anticipates dependencies with other teams to deliver products and applications in line with business requirements Manages stakeholder relationships and the team's work in accordance with compliance standards, service level agreements, and business requirements Creates a culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect for the team members and prioritizes diverse representation Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience. In addition, demonstrated coaching and mentoring experience. Experience in Payment Processing Domain Experience in managing complex large scale critical platforms Experience in leading high-performing teams, providing mentorship and guidance to develop team members' skills and capabilities in automation. Experience in managing SDLC and Test Cycles Experience with functional testing automation tools (Selenium, Java, Cucumber, Python) and with API test automation (Rest Assured, SoapUI, Postman) Ensure adherence to firmwide standards, controls, and intelligent automation solutions governance. Experience in with following tech stack : AWS, Java, Python, Groovy, Automation Toolset Experience in using of Cucumber / Gherkin / Team City or similar tool (Required). Excellent problem solving, analytical, and communication skills Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
