Washington DC, US Reuters Video News is seeking a dynamic and talented Video Journalist for a TEMPORARY position based in Washington, D.C. About the Role
As a Video Journalist (Level 1 Journalist - Temp), you will: Produce, edit, write, and deliver live and edited coverage of breaking news stories, as well as coverage of compelling and creative feature stories. Work hours may vary depending on news events, including occasional weekend work and extended workdays. Cover events at the White House, Capitol Hill, federal courts, government agencies, and other locations in the District of Columbia and surrounding region. Occasionally, coverage may extend to other parts of the United States and Canada. Shoot videos of events and stories using broadcast-quality cameras, DSLR, GoPro, and other equipment. Work independently when shooting, collaborating with multimedia and video teams to produce comprehensive reports. Collaborate with colleagues across departments to cover stories such as climate change, technology, entertainment, and sports.
