Lead and mentor a team of machine learning engineers in developing AI/ML models and applications. Collaborate with Adobe Research, product, and engineering teams to define and complete ML strategies. Coordinate the design, development, and deployment of ML-powered applications, ensuring standard methodologies in ML-Ops, cloud deployment, and system integration. Define technical roadmaps, set priorities, and guide the team in delivering high-impact ML solutions. Establish and drive standards for model quality, data governance, and performance optimization. Engage in the full product lifecyclearchitecture, design, deployment, and production operations. Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning within the team. What You Need To Succeed
The ideal candidate will have the following background: MS or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in applied AI/ML, including model development, evaluation, and deployment. 2+ years of experience in leading or managing teams of ML engineers. Strong understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning, and deep learning concepts. Experience in developing and growing products powered by machine learning and managing large-scale data pipelines. Proficiency in Python, Scala, Java, SQL, and ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or SparkML. Ability to translate business problems into AI/ML solutions and drive alignment across teams. Excellent communication, collaborator management, and leadership skills. Experience working with both research and product teams to bring ML innovations to production. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $168,200 -- $340,100 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP). In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
