Cyber Security Specialist I/ Cyber Security Analyst Associate
Own your career as a Cyber Security Specialist I/ Cyber Security Analyst Associate at GDIT. Our work depends on the Cybersecurity Specialist joining our team with an active Secret clearance, supporting a federal Security Operations Center (SOC). How a Cyber Security Specialist I will make an impact: Performs forensic analysis of digital information and gathers and handles evidence. Identifies network computer intrusion evidence and perpetrators Individual contributors representing the most common entry point for technical employees; works under direct supervision. Resolves technical problems that are typically not difficult or complex. Works under supervision on less complex projects/ assignments. Develops products, solutions, processes using basic principles, theories and concepts within own technical specialty. Requires basic knowledge of and ability to apply principles, theories, and concepts of narrow technical domain. What you'll need to succeed: The position requires an active Secret clearance BA/BS in a related field. (If no degree Technical Training, Certification(s) or three (3) years of related experience could substitute for the four (4) year degree.) Requires basic knowledge of, and ability to apply, principles, theories, and concepts of cyber security and IT Security. Location: Washington, DC. US Citizenship Required Timeline: This work is anticipated to start anytime between August 2025 and March 2026.
