Peraton Labs Counter Unmanned Aerial System Software Engineer

As a member of an experienced engineering team, you will develop next generation counter unmanned aerial system (CUAS) solutions. Your role will be to develop the Linux/C++ based software which controls all aspects of the CUAS precision targeting system. This position will require approximately 15% travel to various military test ranges across the US and internationally. Responsibilities

Algorithm design and verification. C++ software development in a Red Hat Linux environment. Development and test of interfaces to external systems. Travel to support field tests. Qualifications

2 years with BS/BA; 0 years with MS/MA; 6 years with no degree. Expert level C++ development in a Linux environment. System architecture experience related to bridging near real time embedded systems with distributed sensor systems and other data providers. Experience with a wide variety of communication protocols, e.g. ethernet (UDP, TCPIP), CAN bus, RS-232, RS422. Experience with Conan, software configuration management relating to managing large numbers of software dependencies. Python experience with emphasis on data analysis. Android development experience, especially within the ATAK infrastructure. Modelling and Simulation experience with DIS/HLA and Virtual Battlespace. Excellent written and oral communication skills. U.S. Citizenship Required. Ability to obtain Secret Clearance. Willingness to travel 1 week every two months. Salary Range
